Tour Package
Cappadocia
If you want to explore some more parts of Turkey apart from the picturesque seacoasts and charming big cities, you’ll probably enjoy the 5-day tour to Cappadocia. The journey will start in Antalya and end it in Istanbul. And between you’ll discover 4 more destinations in the middle of the country. The tour includes accommodation in a hotel, an expert tour guide, meals, and transport. Valleys, hot air balloons, the ancient underground city and more! We’ve prepared the exciting, but the safe route that you’ll definitely recall for the rest of your life.
You’ll meet the tour guide at 8 o’clock in the morning and then head to the bus station, from where you’ll travel to the first destination - Goreme (Cappadocia). You’ll take a local bus and travel for approximately 9.5 hours. Once you arrive, you can walk around with the tour guide and visit the Ortahisar Castle (if you wish). After the long day, you’ll get to the hotel for a night stay. Note: if you want to fly on the air balloon the next day, it’s time to say it to your tour guide.
Rocks, chimneys and underground cities: it’s all about Cappadocia. If you’ve booked the hot air balloon the day before, this morning you’ll have a flight over the breathtaking landscapes at sunrise. After that, it’s time to explore the underground cities - Kaymakli (the widest) and Derinkuyu (the deepest one). Later, at the evening, there'll be free time. You can either enjoy the nightlife of Goreme or hit up a Whirling Dervish 'Sema' performance.
You can hike the hills and mountains of Gorem at the morning, and after take some rest in the hotel at the afternoon. If your legs are a little tired from all the walking, you can try a local hamam at the evening.
This is the last day in the Cappadocia area, so it’s time to explore everything that left unknown. You can go to the Göreme Open Air Museum, an ancient ruins of monasteries, churches and houses carved into soft volcanic rock. You could also check out a small chilled-out Avanos, that you can reach in 10 minutes by bus. This town is known for its pottery and Red river, that was named because of the red clay on its banks. Take your last photos in Cappadocia as tonight you’ll have a night bus to Istanbul (approximately 10–12 hours).
Well, your trip is almost finished on our arrival in Istanbul in the morning. But of course, you can stay longer and spend some more time in Istanbul. There are a lot of activities you can do: you can immerse yourself in the history and visit the Hagia Sofia, take a ferry and enjoy the cruise along the Bosphorus, or just walk on the tiny streets around the Galata tower area. Please note: if you are going to book a flight from Istanbul this day, consider the flights after 1 pm in case any delays on the overnight bus.
