Itinerary

Day 1: Gallipoli Tour

Our trip will start early in the morning, at around 6.30-7.00 o’clock. We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Istanbul and go to Gallipoli (5 hours by car). Our program includes visiting: Memorials of Dardanelles Brighton Beach ANZAC Cove ANZAC Commemorative Site Ari Burnu Cemetery Lone Pine Australian Memorial Johnston's Jolly (Turkish and Allied trenches and tunnels) Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial And more. After the tour, we’ll have lunchtime in a local restaurant and then take a to Canakkale, where we’ll stay at the hotel for a night.

Day 2: Troy and Pergamum Tour

Breakfast time, around 8.30 we’ll start the tour to Troy Ancient City. Today you’ll see the sightseeings of 10 ancient cities that were built one on another: Trojan Horse, Apollo Temple, fortified city walls, Roman Theater, Greco-Roman Senate building. Then, we’ll drive to Pergamum, an ancient Greek city where you could see Zeus Altar and one of the most important libraries of the ancient world. In the midday, we’ll have lunch and then drive to Kusadasi where you’ll spend a night in the local hotel.

Day 3: Pamukkale Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, around 8 am you’ll meet the guide. Today we have Pamukkale-Hierapolis trip. Pamukkale (‘Cotton Castle’ in Turkish) is a hillside with white travertine cascades and terraces of shallow pools. This place is known for its hot springs and has been existing since ancient times. Don't worry you’ll have some time to have a bath. After Pamukkale, we’ll visit Hierapolis Ancient City, Unesco World Heritage Site. As an option, you can walk on terraces or swim in Cleopatra Swimming Pool. Midday, lunch break in a local restaurant. End of the tour, transfer to hotel in Pamukkale for an overnight stay and free time.

Day 4: Ephesus Tour

Breakfast first, around 9.30 we’ll start our tour to Ephesus. What we’ll visit: Artemis Temple (one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world), Ephesus Ancient City, Celcus Library, Hadrian Temple, Theater, Hamams and Old Harbor. Lunch in a local restaurant in the midday. At the end of the day, we’ll visit the House of Virgin Mary, the place where she spent her last 5 years before her death. This house was recognized as a pilgrimage place by the Vatican. At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: From Ephesus to Cappadocia by plane

Today you’ll fly to Cappadocia. So we’ll pick you up from the hotel and transfer to the airport (the exact departure time you’ll know the day before). On your arrival in Cappadocia, we’ll meet you at the airport and transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6: Northern Cappadocia Tour

This morning, around 9 o’clock, we’ll pick you up and head to Goreme Village, the land of mysterious chimneys in the rocks and the biggest monastery complex in the region. Then, we'll head to Ortahisar castle and Pasabag, the valley with rocky chimneys famous for their unusual forms. We’ll pass through Devrent valley, where you’ll see the animals that are petrified in the rocks. Around 12 o’clock our group will have a lunch break in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you'll walk along the Red River and visit a small village Avanos well-known for its pots craft. If you wish, you can attend the pottery workshop there. At the end of the day, we’ll back to the hotel by passing through the Love Valley( the place with an incredible view).

Day 7: Southern Cappadocia Tour

This day is for Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon activity (please, mind that this is optional, so if you wish to fly, tell about that to your tour guide the day before). If you are not going to fly, but only to observe the remarkable sky, our guide will pick you up from the hotel around 09:30 - 10:00 am and you’ll head to Southern Cappadocia Tour package includes: Uchisar Castle which is one of the biggest fairy chimney used as a fortress by many civilizations. Hiking in Red Valley (about 4 km.) and passing through Rose Valley by exploring the rock churches that saved early Christians from Roman prosecution. Arriving in Cavusin village, which is known for its ancient settlement. Lunch break in a local restaurant in the midday. After lunch, we’ll continue our trip to Kaymaklı Underground City, the widest one in Cappadocia. Previously it was used as a hideout by refugees and people running away from the catastrophes. Then, we’ll head to Pigeon Valley from where you can observe a nice view over Uchisar Castle and a dozen of pigeon houses. Our last visiting point for today is Three Beauties Valley famous for its wineries and amazing view. At the end of the day, you’ll be transferred to the local airport and fly back to Istanbul. On your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.

Day 8: From Cappadocia to Istanbul

You can catch your last moments in Cappadocia this morning! According to your boarding time, we’ll transfer you to the airport and you’ll return to Istanbul. On your arrival at the airport, our driver will pick you up and transfer to the hotel.

What do you mean by a “professional licensed tour guide”?
Taking a tour with the professional licensed guide is very important. Guides in Turkey study a mix of history, archaeology and mythology for 4 years in order to get their tour guiding license and pass special exams in language skills. All our company tour guides are professional licensed guides and expert in their regions. It is illegal for anyone who is not a licensed tour guide to conduct tours of historical sites in Turkey.
